BANK OF AFRICA AWARDED TWICE IN DUBAI BY "ARABIA CSR AWARDS" 2 October 2019
Confirming its leadership in Corporate Social Responsibility, BANK OF AFRICA has been awarded twice by the Arabia CSR Awards for the 6th consecutive year in both the Financial Services Category and the Partnerships and Collaborations category.
The Awards, presented at a ceremony in Dubai on 2 October 2019, recognise organisations in the Region that demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to sustainability.
This regional benchmark has considerably expanded its scope over the decade and its credibility has earned it the trust and recognition of global and regional bodies such as the United Nations Global Compact, the United Nations Environment Programme and the League of Arab States.
The Bank’s award comes in the wake of the "Top Performer CSR" prize also obtained for the sixth consecutive time by the non-financial rating agency VigeoEiris, which since April 2019 has joined forces with Moody’s to promote the use of standards worldwide among market players.
